Weather Update: White Glove Delivery Service has been temporarily paused in areas of the country with "Winter Storm Warnings". Areas affected by significant snow fall and ice accumulation continue to hinder safe travel. Calls to arrange appointments to deliver in these areas will commence once the warnings have been canceled and roads are safe to travel.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR CLIENTS THAT ORDERED IN 2025 AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED THEIR FLAG
After the serious issue we were having with UPS damaging our flags last year, this resulted in the recent announcement of our new White Glove Delivery service. From Thanksgiving to January 6th many of the carriers were off the road for the holidays. Please understand these carriers are independent carriers that cover up to six or more states while delivering and picking up other items along their route, so they cannot be compared to the delivery speed of UPS or FedEx. Admittedly, they are slow, but the intent of contracting them in the first place was not for speed of delivery, it is to deliver our flags without being damaged. Other than their speed of delivery being slow, the most repeated question is, “when can I expect to receive my flag” or “what is the carrier's name and phone number?” According to our contract and NDA we have with our carriers, we cannot give out their names or phone numbers. As stated in earlier updates, these independent, white glove carriers (aka/couriers) deliver high value items such as antiques, jewelry, private lock boxes, collector’s art, financial documents, etc. They are bonded and highly insured. As you know, a name and phone number can be easily traced and tracked in today’s world, thereby creating potential harm and hazards for these couriers and their cargo. This is what we were told to say when our clients asked, "when will it be delivered?” As they approach your area you will be contacted to arrange a date and time for your flag to be delivered. We hire them to deliver flags to our clients, not spending time on the phone as customer service agents.
